The Health & Safety at Work Regulations now require an employer to conduct risk assessments and, if more than 5 people are employed, a record must be made the assessment findings.
Today's regulations require an employer to take all reasonable steps to ensure that others are not put at risk by the actions of anyone employed by them - that is anything they may do while driving at work, for your business - including damage to property and injuries and stress caused to others.
The responsibility extends from the verification of driving licences and eysight checks to actual on road practical driving ability and behaviour.
